Se stai per avvicinarti ad un F 250 in generale significa che hai le idee davvero chiare. Se tra tutti quelli disponibili stai scegliendo la versione KING RANCH direi che non ti deve insegnare nulla nessuno. Per chi invece si sta avvicinando a questo generosissimo PICK UP sia per dimensioni che per prestazioni, deve sapere che un 250 va oltre ogni fantasia, va al di la della tua piu’ fervida immaginazione. E’ in grado di eseguire gli ordini piu’ severi ed e’ capace di cose che solo dopo averlo tenuto con te anni potrai capire.
Ti lascio alle immagini di una delle versioni piu’ speciali denominata KING RANCH, ma non dimenticare che la poco meno prestigiosa LARIAT o le versioni meno ricche di accessori e finiture, sono e rimangono delle FORD F 250 e anche per loro nulla e’ impossibile.
Il 2011 ha apportato diverse modifiche alla trasmissione aumentando le capacita’ di traino e piu’ che mai risulta docile e leggero alla guida. Le motorizzazione sono due, 6.2 V8 a benzina da 402 Hp e 6.7 Turbo Diesel da 390 Hp abbinati ad un cambio automatico a 6 rapporti di ultimissima generazione.

Description
As Ford’s hard working, heavy-duty pickup, the 2011 Ford F-250 Super Duty receives upgraded powertrains, increased capability, and revised exterior design. Now standard is a 6.2-liter gas V-8 with 402 hp, choose the optional 6.7-liter turbo diesel V-8 and you have 390 hp and a class-leading 735 lb ft of torque on tap. Both are paired with 6-speed automatic transmissions which allow towing capacity up to 26,400 lbs in certain configurations. The EPA does not rate mpg in this class of truck, but Ford engineers estimate improvements in mileage across the board. The Super Duty is available in 2 or 4-wheel drive with multiple cab and bed configurations. With its optional trailer sway control, hill start/descent assist, engine exhaust brake, Ford Work in-cab computer, and many more innovative and productivity features, the Super Duty has raised the bar in the heavy-duty pickup arena once more.
